Job description

Description:

We are looking for a Tax Preparer to perform accounting tasks in collaboration with internal departments. You will be preparing financial statements from source departments provided by our clients. You will perform general ledger entries, reconcile bank, payroll and other accounts. You will also be required to assist with the preparation of US corporate tax returns for our clients.
We will trust you to:

  • Keep records of financial transactions, balance the books, and perform account recons
  • Bank account recons
  • Payroll recons
  • Complete monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Prepare tax returns for corporations
  • Prepare tax returns for individuals
  • Accurately prepare necessary paperwork for tax returns
  • Follow industry trends and track changes related to taxes

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • 1-2 years working experience
  • Fluency in English (Written and Verbal)
  • Good MS Office skills, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of Accounting and Bookkeeping procedures
  • Familiarity with accounting software packages
  • Good communication skills with proactive, supportive and positive approach
