Join the Apple Corporate Tax Department and help us drive the modernization of our tax processes. In this role, you will serve as the bridge between tax operations and technology, utilizing innovative solutions, automation, and data analytics. You will partner closely with Tax, Finance, and Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and compliant tax technology infrastructure.
Description
You will develop and execute a multi-year tax technology roadmap aligned with the department's strategic goals. By leveraging emerging technologies, you'll streamline workflows, improve data integrity, and provide actionable insights to leadership.","responsibilities":"Develop and execute a multi-year tax technology roadmap with a focus on data infrastructure, automation, and strategic departmental goals.
Design and implement data pipelines, models, and governance standards to streamline the collection, transformation, and delivery of tax data.

Oversee the integration of tax systems with ERP platforms, managing system upgrades, patches, and configurations in partnership with IS&T.
Identify and resolve data integrity issues across source systems, ensuring a single source of truth for tax reporting and compliance.
Analyze complex tax data to support tax planning, audit defense, and business decision-making, translating findings into actionable insights for leadership.
Collaborate with in-house tax professionals and Finance Transformation teams to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
Ensure tax technology solutions comply with internal controls, data security policies, and regulatory requirements while maintaining thorough documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of experience in tax, with at least 5 years focused on tax technology or tax operations.
CPA, Master's degree in Taxation, or relevant technology certifications (e.g., PMP, Alteryx Designer).
Experience in a large multinational corporate tax environment.
Experience with RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere).
Familiarity with SQL, Python, or other scripting/programming languages.
Knowledge of tax data standards such as XBRL or OECD Pillar Two reporting requirements.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical. audiences.
Project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Collaborative team player with strong stakeholder management skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of experience in tax, with at least 5 years focused on tax technology or tax operations.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience with corporate tax processes, including direct and indirect compliance, provision (ASC 740), and transfer pricing.
Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools.
Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle (SAP preferred).
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $140,700 and $211,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
