Job description

Position Summary:
As part of the KPC Mt. Palomar team, Servers educate our customers on our spirits as well as the wine industry. Servers must promote and provide excellent customer service skills as the Tasting Room is the public face of KPC Mt. Palomar

Responsibilities:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Be familiar with promotions, sales, and assist with dining events
  • Be able to answer questions and make recommendations regarding our wine selection
  • Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas
  • Wash and sterilize glassware
  • Charge merchandise accurately and immediately into the Point of Sale system
  • Accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change,
  • Assist the restocking and replenishment of inventory and supplies
  • Other Duties as Assigned

Qualifications:

  • Food handlers card certification required
  • Solid Customer Service skills
  • Must be 21 years of age or older

  • Mount Palomar is a working winery with production spaces, event spaces, vineyards, and guest areas. Mixed area types include office environments, wine and vineyard production areas, and guest areas including a restaurant, tasting room, and event space.
  • Mount Palomar is a fast paced, high-energy, moderately noisy environment containing multiple personality types. Can become crowded and high-pressure, especially on the weekends and during holiday period.
  • Mount Palomar includes indoor and outdoor environments, subject to hot and cold elements.
