Job description

CTG is seeking to fill an SAP Technical Project Manager opening for our premier client in Chicago, IL.

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration: 5 months

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering all legacy application remediation, decommissioning, and SAP integration activities related to Service Solutions as part of a large enterprise SAP implementation program.

A Project Manager in Application Operations is responsible for managing the end-to-end implementation of security frameworks and DevOps platforms, overseeing the build and support of middleware components, and reviewing & implementing monitoring requirements. They also manage the transition from build to run and operate phases, ensuring smooth operations and incident management. The role requires strong leadership in incident, problem, and change management during the run and operate phase. Additionally, the Project Manager determines and tracks scope, milestones, tasks, risks, assumptions, objectives, and dependencies relating to projects, creating a governance to report progress. They are constantly on the lookout for areas for implementing automation & new technologies & thereby bring in productivity improvements. They proactively build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to identify opportunities to add value and engage team members as needed

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $60 to $65 hourly. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
