Position Description & Qualifications Serco is excited to support the Air Force Modeling and Simulation Support Services (AFMS3) contract. The primary purpose of this contract is to ensure that the Department of the Air Force (DAF), Department of Defense (DoD), and External Partner Agencies maintain cutting-edge Modeling and Simulation (M&S) capabilities that are secure, interoperable, and efficient. The contractor will provide comprehensive support and innovative solutions that enable the continuous evolution and enhancement of M&S systems, ensuring that the DAF and DoD can effectively prepare for and execute their missions with the highest level of readiness and lethality.

Must have an active U.S. Department of War (DoW) Secret security clearance. To be successful in this role you will have: * A U.S.

citizenship * An active U.S. Department of War (DoW) security clearance (Secret or higher may be required for some roles) * The possibility to telecommute (Part-time) * A Bachelor's degree (or additional years of relevant experience in technical, engineering, cybersecurity, or program management fields in lieu of degree) * 8 years of experience * Prior experience supporting AFMS, or other DoD M&S programs is strongly desired * The ability to travel 10% * Provides direction on projects from inception through completion and provides technical and managerial assistance on all aspects of project management to comply with the technical requirements of the contract for the customer. Manages and coordinates technical and administrative staff by assigning, scheduling, prioritizing, coordinating, and facilitating multiple tasks.

Evaluates performance of subcontractors and staff in terms of actual and planned task schedules and resource requirements. Reviews work for quality assurance. Composes memoranda, reports, and other documentation highlighting project steps and status for daily and weekly meetings with customer.

Attends meetings and makes presentations about project status and work commitments. Ensures training of all staff members and instructs them on customer's methods, procedures, and standards. Evaluates, develops or implements procedures regarding project documentation and development.

Troubleshoots technical problems and takes corrective action. Reviews employee schedules and time cards. Participates in long-range planning, analysis, and program design.

Participates in the planning and design of new projects as requested. Also responsible for acquiring follow-on business associated with assigned projects and for supporting new business development by leading relatively small proposals or assisting with major proposals. Conducts complex work important to the organization.

Works with minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment. Degree must be in computer science, engineering, applied sciences, or management. Company Overview Serco Inc.
