Job description

Overview

The Order Specialist is responsible for performing daily customer order management tasks that ensure timely, accurate processing of orders and organization of the stockroom. This position partners with the General Manager and Store Managers to ensure the stockroom is neat, safe and organized.

Responsibilities

  • Pulls and prepares customer orders for pickup
  • Ensures that the quantity of customer orders are evaluated each day for successful execution to meet the demand for Curbside Pick Up and Local Delivery requests
  • Executes all daily tasks so that all orders are completed on time
  • Communicates and follows up with customers on issues regarding their orders, all the way through resolution
  • Manages the stockroom ensuring it is organized and well-maintained to support visual and selling efforts of the store
  • Adheres to the time expectations established for the role, performing tasks with accuracy and timeliness, while exhibiting pace and attention to detail
  • Maintains and down stocks the Elfa product area in the Stock room
  • Performs daily locations audits on customers’ orders
  • Executes changes to staging locations and Elfa Pull Sequence
  • Reviews and takes timely action on the Product Not Arriving as Expected Report
  • Identifies and helps to develop a strong, efficient order processing team that contributes to a positive customer experience with Curbside Pickup and Local Delivery
  • Understands our sales goals and holds them self and the staff accountable for achieving those goals
  • Leads the salesfloor and performs other tasks or duties in partnership with the Managers
  • Actively engages with customers to solve their organizational challenges

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years inventory experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills
