Join our team as an Operations Manager at Stay Local Austin!
As a member of the Operations team, the Operations Manager will lead a team to ensure the condition of each property is in line with company standards. The Operations Manager is the primary point of contact for daily property operations, including housekeeping, inspections, maintenance, and after-hours support. They will coordinate repairs, manage inventory, maintain vendor relationships, and ensure properties meet safety, cleanliness, and guest-ready standards.

Requirements
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all operational matters across assigned properties.
  • Manage daily housekeeping operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Coordinate routine inspections to uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the maintenance team to schedule and oversee necessary repairs.
  • Operate automation tools and follow established protocols to streamline processes.
  • Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation to address urgent issues.
  • Utilize property management software and other tech tools with proficiency.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities outside of routine day-to-day tasks, as needed, to support evolving business needs and ensure operational success.

Non-Essential Job Functions:
  • Remain available and responsive across all platforms throughout the workday.
  • Hold the team accountable by providing coaching and constructive feedback as needed.
  • Develop the team by challenging them and guiding them to achieve personal goals.
  • Collaborate with team members from all levels of the company.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2-3 years of management experience.
  • Availability to work weekends, on call shifts, and holidays in the office as required.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of working indoors, outdoors, and within a warehouse environment.
  • Prolonged periods of walking.
  • Ascend and descend stairs/ladders as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Schedule:
  • 5-day work week.
  • Typical work hours fall between 9 am and 6 pm.
  • Weekend work is required.
  • On call shifts as required.
  • Flexibility to adapt to business needs.
