Job description

This job is in Liberty, KY

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Assemble products using basic air powered and/or hand tools.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Includes the following (other duties may be documented and assigned by management, and some duties may not apply dependent upon the requirements of the position at each specific Tarter site and/or the strengths of the employee and the needs of the company):

  • Identify parts required to complete product.
  • Complete assembly of various parts according to Instructions.
  • Identify defects on material while assembling products.
  • Maintain adequate supplies/materials to complete tasks.
  • Work with a team in a fast-paced Industrial environment.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area.
  • Label products correctly.
  • Operate forklift.
  • Load finished product to pallets.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, skills & abilities: Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Effective interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills required. This position performs job duties in an ethical and professional manner. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities the ability to perform the essential functions.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of basic hand and power tools.
  • Able to lift up to 40lbs.
  • Understanding and use of proper PPE at all times.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Fast paced position that Involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 40lbs. May Involve working outside In most weather conditions. Loose fitting clothing and jewelry are not permitted.
