Job description

JOB FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

       Manage transportation accounts payable processes, including invoice review, entry, validation, issue resolution, and payment support

       Review and validate Targa Transport driver activity and compliance data within Geotab

       Verify freight rates and billing accuracy while validating Targa Transport and third-party carrier activity

       Collaborate with field operations, dispatch, management, and third-party partners to investigate and resolve load discrepancies

       Maintain accurate customer, location, route, mileage, carrier, and driver master data within Chorus

       Partner with dispatch teams to ensure timely and accurate driver and carrier data entry to support month-end close activities

       Provide administrative support for transportation analysts and dispatch operations, including order entry, reporting, and data management

       Manage supplier portal activities, including vendor onboarding, maintenance, and support

       Maintain transportation equipment records and related documentation files

       Monitor and manage driver licensing, qualification, and compliance requirements

       Support process improvement initiatives, audits, and special projects as assigned

       Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required to support transportation operations

       Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

       High School Diploma or GED

       Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including spreadsheet development, data validation, pivot tables, and reporting support

       Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and business reporting tools.

       Self-directed, proactive, and able to manage assigned responsibilities with limited oversight

       Able to manage competing priorities in a high-volume, deadline-driven transportation environment

       Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across operations, dispatch, accounting, and management

       Regular and reliable attendance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

       Experience with transportation, dispatch, carrier billing, or logistics administration

       Experience using Chorus, Iron Sight, Geotab, or comparable transportation management systems
