As a UiPath Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer you'll... design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise robotic process automation (RPA) solutions using the UiPath platform. The position works closely with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, document business processes, and deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable digital workforce solutions. The developer leads automation projects from requirements through production support while directing the work of Developers and Operators responsible for validation, testing, and execution.

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain UiPath automations using Studio, Orchestrator, AI Center, Integration Service, and Document Understanding where applicable.

  • Analyze business processes and create Process Definition Documents (PDDs), Solution Design Documents (SDDs), workflow diagrams, and technical documentation.

  • Develop reusable components, libraries, coding standards, and automation frameworks.

  • Integrate bots with enterprise systems including Maximo, TRIRIGA/NEXGEN, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, SAP, Oracle, SQL Server, REST APIs, and web applications.

  • Perform exception handling, logging, monitoring, performance tuning, and root cause analysis.

  • Manage bot scheduling, credential management, queues, assets, and production deployments through UiPath Orchestrator.

  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), production releases, and post-implementation support.

  • Ensure automations comply with cybersecurity, governance, audit, and change management requirements.

  • Identify automation opportunities and recommend process improvements that reduce cost, improve quality, and increase productivity.

  • Provide technical leadership to junior RPA developers including code reviews, architecture guidance, troubleshooting, and development standards.

  • Assign and prioritize work for junior developers and review deliverables for quality before deployment.

  • Direct Data Operators in preparing source data, validating automation outputs, performing regression testing, maintaining reference data, documenting exceptions, and escalating data quality issues.

  • Develop training materials and provide knowledge transfer to business users and support staff.

  • Track automation KPIs including hours saved, bot utilization, success rate, exception rate, ROI, and production stability.

  • Provides technical leadership and directs work over UiPath developers and functional direction to Data Operators. Reviews code, assigns work packages, establishes development standards, validates testing results, and ensures production readiness. May serve as technical lead for multiple concurrent automation projects.

Summary of desired skills and experience for the Tessera UiPath Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field required

  • 3 - 5 years of previous experience in software development or automation required

  • Direct experience with UiPath required

  • UiPath Certified Professional, UiPath Solution Architect strongly preferred

  • Experience automating ERP/CMMS platforms such as IBM Maximo, SAP, Oracle, Workday or similar strongly preferred

  • Strong VB.NET or C#, SQL, REST API, JSON/xml, Git/Azure DevOps experience strongly preferred

  • This position will be open to remote for the right candidate

  • A valid state driver's license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance.
