Job description

The Legendary Galt House Hotel is looking for a room service attendant to join their growing team.

The room service attendant is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages to the guests' rooms, ensuring orders are accurate, while maintaining the quality and presentation of each dish.

Job Duties:

  • Interact with guests during deliveries, providing courteous service and addressing immediate needs.

  • Verify that orders are complete, including special requests, and ensure that food is delivered at the correct temperature.

  • Assist with the clearing of trays, maintaining cleanliness of work areas, and restocking supplies as needed.

  • Effectively communicate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred.

  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.

  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage items, including preparation and presentation standards.

  • Excellent time management, and communication skills.

  • Must have a polished, and professional appearance.

  • Must be able to lift and carry heavy trays, push carts, and other equipment.
