Job description

Echo NDE is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rockwood Service Corporation and provides full service non-destructive testing, inspection, and integrity services throughout North America.  Our wide array of services is tailored towards maintenance, integrity, construction for both facility and pipeline sectors to a range of industries. Position Details:

We are currently seeking a Certified UT/MT Technician to support our Western Canada Operations. This is a full-time position will be based out of Calgary, with travel to and from multiple worksites throughout Western Canada.


  • Set up and calibrate testing equipment.
  • Conducts tests on parts, following procedures established for specified inspection task being performed.
  • Evaluate results according to specifications and standards.
  • Assist with various other inspection tasks.
  • Organize and report test result.
  • Adhere to all company quality and safety policies and procedures.

  • CGSB Ultrasonic Testing (UTI or UTII)/Magnetic Particle Testing (MTII).
  • Preference for tank inspection experience.
  • Possess good analytical skills, detail oriented.
  • Be able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally (English).
  • Be able to pass a vision and color detection test.
  • Willing to learn and assist in various inspection techniques.
  • Possess a valid driverโ€™s license minimum (class 5) with a clean driving record.
  • Able to work well within a team environment.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Able to work long hours and weekends away from home base.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Canada to complete inspection projects.
