Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality psychotherapy and mental health services to students experiencing conditions such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of studentsโ€™ mental health, focusing on their emotional, behavioral, and social functioning to inform treatment strategies.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are evidence-based and culturally responsive, ensuring that each studentโ€™s unique needs are addressed.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including school counselors and other healthcare professionals, to create a coordinated approach for student care.
  • Regularly monitor and evaluate student progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on feedback and response to therapies.
  • Educate and support students and their families regarding mental health diagnoses, treatment modalities, and community resources available for additional support.
  • Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in all interactions, ensuring compliance with legal and professional guidelines.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of this role is on school-aged children and adolescents within the Modesto area, providing much-needed support for various mental health challenges. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
