• Provide high-quality psychotherapy and mental health services to students experiencing conditions such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ mental health, focusing on their emotional, behavioral, and social functioning to inform treatment strategies.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are evidence-based and culturally responsive, ensuring that each student’s unique needs are addressed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including school counselors and other healthcare professionals, to create a coordinated approach for student care.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate student progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on feedback and response to therapies.
• Educate and support students and their families regarding mental health diagnoses, treatment modalities, and community resources available for additional support.
• Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in all interactions, ensuring compliance with legal and professional guidelines.

The focus of this role is on school-aged children and adolescents within the Modesto area, providing much-needed support for various mental health challenges. By working closely with students, parents, and school staff, you will play a crucial role in promoting a safe and supportive school environment that encourages students to thrive academically and socially.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in providing psychotherapy and other mental health services to children and adolescents.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and a multidisciplinary team of professionals.
• Strong clinical assessment skills, with proficiency in developing tailored, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Competence in using electronic health records (EHRs) and relevant healthcare software for managing documentation and care coordination.
• A comprehensive understanding of mental health conditions and the impact they have on young individuals.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional ethical standards.

• Experience working within school environments or adolescent-focused mental health settings.
• Familiarity with community resources and services that support children and families.
