Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health, including emotional, behavioral, and social aspects, to establish a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
• Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy tailored to individuals grappling with conditions such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that consider cultural competence and best practices in mental health treatment.
• Monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies based on ongoing evaluations and feedback.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to ensure holistic and coordinated patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources available to support recovery.
• Maintain all clinical records with precision, adhering to ethical and professional standards, including ensuring patient confidentiality and informed consent.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, addressing a variety of mental health conditions across different demographics. This role will involve engaging with clients facing unique challenges and varying cultural backgrounds, necessitating a strong understanding of culturally competent practices in therapy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in California.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience providing mental health services or psychotherapy to individuals in a clinical setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong therapeutic relationships with patients and collaborating effectively with healthcare teams.
• Proficient in managing patient records using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and other relevant technologies.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specific therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Familiarity with community resources and support networks to assist patients beyond clinical service.
• Background in coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits
