Neon is seeking a Manager - Propeller Product Design to lead a small, elite team developing propeller systems from concept through certification and production. This role is built for a hands-on engineering leader from a high-standard organization who is comfortable moving quickly, making strong technical decisions, and delivering quality hardware under aggressive timelines.

What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering field; equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in mechanical or aerospace system design, analysis, development, and production introduction.ย
- Experience leading engineers in demanding product development environments.
- Strong background in mechanical or aerospace system design, analysis, and production introduction.
- Experience transitioning designs into manufacturing or other hands-on technical settings.
- Understanding of aerospace certification techniques, terminology, and accepted practices.
- Experience with FAA or military qualification of systems is highly desired.
- Familiarity with rotating machinery, propellers, rotors, VTOL systems, or traditional aircraft is highly desired.
- Experience reviewing engineering data with rigor and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with CAD, drawings, GD&T, model-based definition, CFD, and structural substantiation.
- Ability to work in office, lab, and manufacturing environments as needed.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to comply with export control, ITAR, and related security requirements.
Preferred
- Experience leading small, agile, high-performing engineering teams.
- Experience in certification of propeller, rotor, or other rotating flight systems.
- Experience in organizations with high technical standards and aggressive development schedules.
