Job description

Job Summary
The Learning & Talent Intern plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Learning & Talent team. This position provides administrative and operational support that enables high-quality leadership development programs, learning experiences, and talent initiatives across the organization.
This internship is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, curious, and eager to gain hands-on experience across Learning & Development and Talent Management. Many of the day-to-day responsibilities are administrative and operational in nature, but there is significant opportunity to learn, contribute, and take on additional responsibility. We are looking for a self-starter who identifies what needs to be done, looks for ways to add value, and takes initiative beyond assigned tasks.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and help manage the Learning & Talent team inbox, ensuring inquiries are routed and responded to promptly.
  • Provide technical and administrative support for virtual learning sessions, including attendance, polls, breakout rooms, and participant support.
  • Prepare participant materials, communications, learning resources, training supplies, and other program materials.
  • Support in-person event logistics, including room setup, registration, catering coordination, materials, and the overall participant experience.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support, including scheduling, maintaining trackers, organizing files and resources, data entry, and other day-to-day team needs.
  • Support Talent Management initiatives, including the High Potential Program, performance management, succession planning, and leadership development projects as opportunities arise.
  • Participate in team and project meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes and participant experiences.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline administrative work and improve team efficiency.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and projects and ensure they are completed accurately and on time.

The above is intended to describe the general content and requirements of this position and should not be interpreted as an exhaustive list of duties, responsibilities, or requirements.
What Success Looks Like
Successful interns on our team:
  • Take initiative. They identify what needs to be done, look for ways to add value, and don't wait to be assigned every next step.
  • Are curious. They ask thoughtful questions, seek to understand the "why" behind the work, and are eager to learn.
  • Are resourceful. They are willing to investigate, problem-solve, and try to find an answer while also recognizing when to ask for help.
  • Follow through. They are dependable, organized, attentive to details, and take ownership of their commitments.
  • Bring positive energy. They enjoy working as part of a team and build positive, professional relationships with others.
  • Stay flexible. They are willing to jump in where support is needed and adapt as priorities change.
  • Welcome feedback. They are open to coaching, apply what they learn, and continuously look for ways to improve.
  • Care about the quality of their work. They take pride in delivering accurate, thoughtful work, whether the task is large or small.

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources Management, Business, Organizational Leadership, Communications, Education, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable learning new technology and troubleshooting basic technical issues.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently, take direction, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Coursework, previous internship experience, or demonstrated interest in Human Resources, Learning & Development, or Talent Management
