Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic, resourceful, and high-accountability Recruiter to support the continued growth and operational stability of a fast-paced IT VAR/MSP organization. This role is responsible for full-cycle recruiting, talent pipeline development, candidate experience, and supporting workforce planning initiatives across technical, operational, sales, and leadership functions.

This is not a “resume forwarding” recruiter role. We are looking for someone who can identify strong talent, assess culture and accountability fit, move with urgency, and help the organization make smart hiring decisions during a period of operational transformation and leadership restructuring. The ideal candidate understands the importance of professionalism, discretion, organizational structure, and long-term talent strategy within a growing MSP environment.

Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruiting
-Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from intake meetings through onboarding coordination
-Partner closely with leadership to identify hiring needs, role scope, and business priorities
-Develop and post job descriptions aligned with operational needs and company structure
-Source candidates through recruiting platforms, networking, referrals, LinkedIn, agencies, and proactive outreach
-Screen candidates for technical fit, professionalism, communication skills, accountability, and culture alignment
-Coordinate interviews, interview feedback, assessments, and hiring recommendations
-Maintain a strong candidate experience through timely communication and professionalism
Strategic Hiring & Organizational Support
-Support leadership in identifying gaps in staffing structure, role duplication, and operational inefficiencies
-Assist with workforce planning during organizational restructuring and leadership transitions
-Help identify candidates capable of operating in high-accountability, fast-changing environments
-Work closely with HR leadership on organizational design initiatives, job titles, and job descriptions
-Provide hiring market insight, salary research, and recruiting trends relevant to the MSP/VAR industry
-Support efforts to build stronger leadership teams focused on accountability, clarity, and operational excellence
Recruiting Operations & Process Improvement
-Maintain accurate candidate tracking and recruiting documentation within HRIS, Paylocity

-Ensure recruiting practices remain compliant with employment laws and internal hiring standards
-Coordinate background checks, offer letters, onboarding logistics, and pre-employment processes
-Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring or high-turnover positions
-Track recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, sourcing effectiveness, turnover trends, and candidate quality
-Identify opportunities to improve recruiting workflows, communication, and hiring consistency across departments
Collaboration & Culture
-Partner with managers to reinforce professional hiring standards and realistic expectations
-Help promote a culture centered around integrity, accountability, professionalism, and respect
-Maintain discretion with sensitive organizational and personnel information
-Support HR initiatives that improve employee retention, onboarding experience, and long-term workforce stability
-Serve as a professional and approachable point of contact for candidates and hiring managers
 

Required Qualifications
-2–5+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience
-Experience recruiting in fast-paced environments with multiple simultaneous openings
-Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills
-Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information professionally
-Experience coordinating interviews and working directly with leadership teams
-Strong sense of urgency, professionalism, and accountability
Preferred Qualifications
-Recruiting experience within an MSP, VAR, IT services, technology, or professional services environment strongly preferred
-Experience recruiting for:
-Technical support/service desk roles
-Engineers and architects
-Sales/account management
-Operations and administrative positions
-Leadership-level roles
-Familiarity with HRIS’ such as Paylocity
-Experience supporting organizational growth, restructuring, or operational transitions
-Understanding of compensation benchmarking and job title standardization preferred
