The Talent Development Analyst designs, implements, and optimizes performance and talent development programs by combining project management, data analytics, and technical expertise. This role focuses on building scalable systems and tools that enhance performance cycles, streamline workflows, and provide leaders and team members with actionable insights. The analyst leverages platforms such as Zensai and learning management systems, along with tools like Power BI and AI, to drive efficiency and effectiveness across people programs.

• Drive the implementation, execution, and analysis of performance strategies, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals.
• Leverage the Zensai platform and other learning management systems to support performance cycles, learning and development initiatives, and talent development programs.
• Use tools such as Power BI and AI to create efficiencies for leaders, team members, and the People Team, improving how performance data is captured, analyzed, and presented.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to enhance performance programs, focusing on practical, high-impact use cases.
• Design and build AI-assisted feedback tools that support high-quality, timely feedback across the organization.
• Develop predictive analytics for talent assessment to identify trends, anticipate needs, and support data-informed talent decisions.
• Automate routine workflows within performance and talent development processes to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
• Build dashboards and reports that clearly present performance and talent data to stakeholders in an accessible and actionable format.
• Design measurement frameworks that define key metrics, track progress, and evaluate the impact of performance and talent initiatives.
• Analyze performance trends and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Apply systems thinking to architect scalable and sustainable solutions to complex talent challenges across a rapidly growing organization.
• Design processes and tools that can be adopted across teams and functions, ensuring they are robust, adaptable, and user-friendly.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Data Science, IT, and People teams to integrate technical solutions into people programs.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional partners, ensuring alignment on requirements, timelines, and outcomes.
• Manage multiple complex programs and projects simultaneously, from initial concept and design through implementation, iteration, and completion.
• Experiment with creative and original solutions, building prototypes, testing hypotheses, and iterating based on feedback and data.

• Demonstrated program and project management excellence, including the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives at different stages with multiple stakeholders from conception to completion.
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and platforms such as Zensai to support performance cycles and learning and development programs.
• Background in talent development, performance cycles, or learning and development, with a focus on building and improving people programs.
• Technical Background through a degree or experience in systems engineering, software engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
• Ability to think systematically and design scalable technical and process solutions to support talent and performance initiatives.
• Strong data fluency and analytical skills, including experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar platforms.
• Experience with data analytics using SQL, Python, or similar tools to extract insights, build dashboards, and measure impact.
• Comfort working with AI and automation concepts to design tools and workflows that enhance performance and talent programs.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset, with a willingness to build prototypes, test hypotheses, and iterate based on results.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with Engineering, Data Science, IT, and People teams.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical and data concepts into clear, actionable information for non-technical stakeholders.

• Familiarity with HR technology, performance management platforms, or talent analytics tools.
• Previous experience transitioning from a technical role into people, organizational development, or talent-focused roles.
• Experience designing or supporting performance cycles, including feedback processes, goal-setting, and review frameworks.
• Exposure to building or supporting AI-assisted tools within people programs, such as feedback or assessment tools.
• Experience working in rapidly growing organizations where scalable systems and processes are critical.
• Interest in combining technical, analytical, and people-focused work to drive continuous improvement in talent development.

This role is based onsite five days per week in Long Beach. The work environment is highly collaborative and cross-functional, with frequent interaction with Engineering, Data Science, IT, and People teams. You will work extensively with digital tools and platforms, including learning management systems such as Zensai, data visualization tools like Power BI, and analytics technologies such as SQL and Python. The setting emphasizes building scalable systems and leveraging AI and automation to enhance people programs, providing a dynamic environment for individuals who enjoy combining technical problem solving with talent development.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Beach, CA.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
