Position Overview We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a vertically integrated construction materials business, including aggregates, asphalt, ready-mix concrete, and construction operations. The General Manager will oversee safety, operations, sales, budgeting, equipment, and overall business performance. This role is responsible for delivering strong operational results, driving growth strategies, and fostering a positive, safety-focused culture. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Lead day-to-day operations across aggregates, asphalt, ready-mix concrete, and construction services. Drive operational efficiency, cost management, and performance improvement initiatives. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and P&L accountability. Develop and execute capital expenditure plans and long-term strategic initiatives. People Leadership Build, lead, and develop high-performing teams across operations, sales, and support functions. Manage succession planning, performance management, training, and talent development. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, communication, and continuous improvement. Commercial & Strategic Focus Develop and execute strategic plans to support company growth and market expansion. Provide leadership in sales strategy, customer relationships, and market positioning. Collaborate with regional and corporate teams on performance initiatives and operational alignment. Safety, Compliance & Environment Lead a Zero Harm safety culture with an uncompromising commitment to employee wellbeing.
