Managing Director, Asia Pacific

Position Summary 

The Managing Director, APAC is the senior executive responsible for leading Accruent's business across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, driving market growth, customer success, and organizational effectiveness. This role serves as the regional leader for APAC enabling the employees in region including sales account management, strategic partnership engagement, customer success and solutions consulting. 

The Managing Director will shape regional strategy, accelerate go-to-market execution, build high performing culture and teams, and ensure operational alignment with Accruent's global strategy. Success requires strong commercial acumen, cross functional leadership, and the ability to drive customer centric, scalable SaaS growth.

Key Responsibilities 

1. Regional Leadership & Strategy 

  • Serve as Accruent's senior leader for APAC, accountable for the region's P&L, growth, and overall performance. 
  • Develop and execute the region's strategic plan aligned with global priorities, including market expansion, partner ecosystem development, and operational excellence. 
  • Represent APAC within Accruent's global leadership forums, providing regional insights on customer needs, competitive dynamics, and market opportunities. 
  • Foster a strong, inclusive culture rooted in Fortive's and Accruent's values. 

2. Commercial Leadership (APAC & Emerging Markets) 

Sales & Account Management 

  • Lead the APAC and Emerging Markets commercial teams to achieve ARR, net retention, bookings, and pipeline generation targets. 
  • Ensure disciplined execution of go-to-market processes, including forecasting, territory planning, and deal governance. 
  • Drive a value based selling culture focused on solving customer challenges and expanding Accruent's footprint across core industries. 

Customer Success 

  • Oversee Customer Success teams to ensure onboarding quality, adoption, and longterm value realization. 
  • Improve gross and net retention through proactive customer engagement, health monitoring, and success planning. 
  • Champion the voice of the customer, collaborating with Product, Support, and Engineering to remove friction and strengthen product-market fit in APAC. 

Solutions Consulting 

  • Guide Solutions Consulting to deliver compelling demonstrations, technical expertise, and consultative support throughout the sales cycle. 
  • Build industry specific solution expertise to improve win rates and accelerate time-to-value for customers. 

3. People & Organizational Leadership 

  • Build, coach, and scale a high performing, customer centric regional team across revenue, customer, and technical functions. 
  • Ensure clear role clarity, performance expectations, and talent development plans across the region. 
  • Strengthen collaboration between APAC and global teams to improve execution, communication, and alignment. 

4. Market Expansion & Ecosystem Development 

  • Identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities across mature and emerging APAC markets. 
  • Expand and manage channel, reseller, and ISV partnerships to amplify Accruent's regional reach. 
  • Strengthen Accruent's brand presence through thought leadership, industry events, and strategic customer engagement. 

5. Operational Excellence & Governance 

  • Drive operational rigor across forecasting, pipeline discipline, pricing, contract strategy, and deal quality. 
  • Maintain compliance with regional legal, regulatory, and financial requirements. 
  • Work closely with Finance, Legal, Marketing, and Operations to ensure scalable processes and efficient execution. 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Proven senior leadership experience running a region or large business unit within a SaaS or enterprise software environment. 
  • Demonstrated success leading commercial functions (sales, CS, pre-sales) in fast growth or transformation contexts. 
  • Strong understanding of APAC markets, including cultural and economic dynamics across subregions. 
  • Track record of building and leading high-performing teams, with strengths in talent development and commercial discipline. 
  • Strategic thinker with strong operational execution skills and data driven decision making. 
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence, with the ability to influence across global teams and customer organizations. 

Success Measures 

  • Achievement of ARR, retention, and profitability targets for APAC. 
  • Growth of new and existing markets across the region. 
  • Improvement in customer satisfaction, adoption, and longterm value realization.
