POSITION: DoD SkillBridge Internship - Talent Acquisition Specialist
LOCATION: BTAS Corporate Office, Beavercreek, OH
REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE: None required
POSITION TYPE/STANDARD WORK HOURS: Full-time/40 hours per week/On-site
POSITION SUMMARY:
Are you a service member looking to gain valuable civilian work experience before transitioning from the military? BTAS is offering an exciting SkillBridge Internship in Talent Acquisition. WHO CAN APPLY:
The DoD SkillBridge program is for active-duty service members and select groups of the National Guard and the Reserves within 180-days of their separation date. Interested service members must gain approval from their unit commander to participate. Specifically, they must seek approval from the first commander in their chain of command in the pay grade of O-4 or above.

SKILLBRIDGE INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY:
Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: Beavercreek, OH (On-site)
Duration: Up to 180 days
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist intern, you will:
  • Assist in the entire recruitment process, from job postings to candidate selection.
  • Support hiring managers in screening and interviewing candidates.
  • Learn how to manage applicant tracking systems and recruitment databases.
  • Help create sourcing strategies to attract top talent.

Key Requirements:
  • Eligible for the DoD SkillBridge program.
  • Interest in human resources, talent acquisition, or recruitment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

BENEFITS / COMPENSATION:
Through the DoD Skillbridge program, the DoD will continue to provide the service member with their salary, allowances, and benefits while they are in training with authorized DoD SkillBridge partner organizations.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position does not supervise the work of others.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to operate a computer and other standard office equipment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position, 80%.
TRAVEL:
Very little to none required.
