Talent Acquisition Specialist


On site hybrid in Fairborn, OH 3 days a week

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist II, you will be responsible for executing full-life-cycle recruitment responsibilities, building our employment brand, and collaborating with Talent Advisors to provide a world-
class hiring experience for Hiring Managers and candidates.
The Human Resources Strategic Capabilities Unit develops, retains, rewards and attracts talent needed for the business to attain strategic and operational goals.



  • Hybrid schedule:


    • Tuesday-Thursday in office

    • Monday & Friday work from home


  • Standard 40-hour work week

  • Occasional overtime (approximately 2 hours)


Position Overview



  • Supporting engineering recruiting

  • Team is growing rapidly

  • Initial contract expected to be at least 6 months with intention for a 1-year engagement

  • Hiring due to increased workload and need for additional bandwidth to support business growth

  • Significant hiring ramp-up underway


Day-to-Day Responsibilities



  • Heavy sourcing responsibilities

  • Additional focus on candidate engagement and recruiting support

  • AI scheduling tool assists with interview scheduling

  • Responsible for:


    • Sourcing candidates

    • Interview coordination

    • Offer recommendations

    • Extending offers


  • Recruiter's involvement ends once the candidate accepts the offer

What You'll Do:
* Collaborate with Talent Advisors to provide a seamless and exceptional hiring experience for Hiring Managers and candidates by participating in activities including candidate sourcing, pre- screening, offer creation, and salary negotiation.
* Develop and implement effective sourcing and outreach strategies to attract top talent for strategic positions.
* Build and maintain our employment brand through networking, social media, and community outreach.
* Maintain accountability for key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire, to optimize recruitment results, reduce hiring cycles, and improve overall talent acquisition performance.
* Interface with management and employees, communicating and interpreting established policies, procedures, and laws.
* Ensure adherence to established hiring processes and procedures.
* Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
* Perform other duties as necessary.


On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site
three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local
commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.


Working Conditions:
* Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.


Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
* BS/BA plus 2 years or more related experience.
* Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must
be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency to fill job positions with qualified candidates.
* Solid business acumen and quality decision-making skills.
* Detail-oriented with the ability to follow established hiring processes.
* Prior recruiting experience within a technical organization or aerospace/defense industry.
* Experience utilizing an applicant tracking system, preferably BrassRing.
* Experience with sourcing tools, such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
* Willingness to travel locally and maintain confidentiality
