TALENT ACQUISITION INTERN - FULL-TIME YEAR ROUND
We have an opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Intern at our Metro Detroit location, starting immediately. Currently working remote.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist with staffing/hiring process using ATS tools (Ceridian Software)
  • Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers
  • Conduct follow-up meetings with hiring managers
  • Manage full-life cycle recruiting process to ensure a smooth experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Work closely with and build relationships with internal hiring managers and external sources of talent. Utilize social media, applicant tracking system and other tools to effectively and efficiently attract and secure talent for the organization. Maintain visible status of open positions along with progress toward closure. Be a partner and strong resource for recruitment tools and process to the plant locations.
  • Work with hiring managers and HR Management to create job descriptions.
  • Manage applicant flow within ATS; source, screen resumes/candidates, coordinate interviews (may include arranging travel and hotel accommodations)
  • Ensure recruitment efforts are conducted in a manner that is unbiased and compliant with OFCCP requirements and all other applicant tracking requirements.
  • Facilitate interviewing and hiring best practices, policies, and laws.
  • HR System and Process Updates and Development.
  • Help maintain team member files.
  • Assist HR Department with various audits as requested.
  • All other duties assigned.

EXPECTATIONS:
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and follow deadlines
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal/written communication skills
  • Expected workload: minimum 30 hours per week, depending on schedule/availability of qualified candidate

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of one year or equivalent in an accredited college pursuing a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field
  • Minimum cumulative GPA average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Previous work experience preferred
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite
