Job description

Position Summary:

The Human Resources Intern will support the HR team with day-to-day recruiting and talent acquisition activities, with a primary focus on candidate coordination and communication. This role provides hands-on HR experience in a professional manufacturing environment.

This position is intended for a student currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with a Human Resources or closely related focus and interested in building foundational recruiting experience.


Responsibilities of Position:

  • Support recruiting activities from application review through interview scheduling, candidate follow-up, and recruiting documentation.
  • Conduct initial phone screens using approved recruiting guidelines and document candidate information accurately.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams; communicate interview details, changes, and next steps promptly.
  • Assist with job postings, applicant tracking, recruiting events, campus outreach, and other talent acquisition activities as assigned.
  • Communicate professionally with candidates and provide general HR administrative support or special-project assistance as needed.


Skill Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional, service-oriented approach to candidate and employee interactions.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage multiple recruiting activities and schedules while maintaining confidentiality.


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • MUST be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with a Human Resources, Human Resources Management, Business, or closely related HR-focused field.
  • Previous HR, recruiting, customer service, campus leadership, or administrative experience is preferred but not required.
  • 2.8 Minimum GPA


Licensing or Special Certification Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform routine office/computer work, including sitting, keyboarding, and communicating by phone or in person.


Working Conditions:

  • Hybrid work schedule: onsite Monday through Thursday and remote on Friday
  • Occasionally lifts and carries up to 10 pounds.
  • Primarily an office-based environment with regular interaction with candidates, employees, and HR team members. Work may include participation in recruiting events or campus activities as assigned.
