As a full-time People & Culture (P&C) Operations Associate for Aalberts IPSA, you will partner with employees and leaders to support key P&C functions, including employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, engagement, performance management, and compliance. your challenge

  • Partner with managers to facilitate the hourly performance management and employee development processes.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including employee inquiries, enrollment changes, invoice reconciliation, and communication of benefit offerings.
  • Lead hourly recruiting efforts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, checking references, extending offers, and coordinating onboarding activities.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and ensure a positive onboarding experience for new employees.
  • Support the administration and continuous improvement of P&C programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including counseling, conflict resolution, exit interviews, and offboarding activities.
  • Assist with workplace investigations while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
  • Respond to employee questions and concerns, providing timely and effective P&C support.
  • Coordinate employee recognition programs, engagement initiatives, and company-sponsored events.
  • Support departmental continuous improvement initiatives and P&C process enhancements.
  • Represent the Company at unemployment hearings when necessary
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Communicate P&C programs, policies, and updates to employees and management.
  • Help foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
  • Support hourly payroll activities, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting, preferably in a corporate or manufacturing setting.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting or ERP systems.

  • This role is primarily based in office areas but may involve occasional visits to production and warehouse areas requiring adherence to safety protocols, including personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, a safety vest, and steel-toed shoes when on the shop floor or near loading docks.

  • Clear verbal communication skills to coordinate with all departments, vendors and colleagues. Specifically, upper intermediate (B2) language level in English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, leaders, vendors, and visitors in office, production, and warehouse environments, including areas where background noise is present and hearing protection is required. Must be able to receive and exchange information necessary to perform the essential functions of the role and follow safety protocols in an industrial setting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
