Overview
The ETL Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data integration processes that support analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role ensures that data is efficiently extracted, transformed, and loaded from multiple sources into centralized repositories for business and mission-critical operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines using tools such as Informatica, Talend, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, or Apache NiFi.
  • Implement data extraction, transformation, and loading processes for structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and database administrators to ensure efficient data flow and quality.
  • Develop and maintain metadata, data dictionaries, and data lineage documentation.
  • Optimize data integration workflows for performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
  • Implement data validation and error-handling mechanisms.
  • Support data migration, replication, and synchronization across environments.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards.

Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI w/Poly Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in ETL development, data integration, or data engineering.
  • Proficiency in ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, SSIS, AWS Glue, or Azure Data Factory).
  • Strong SQL and database design skills (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server).
