Job description

Position – Data Analyst Location – Arlington, VA (onsite five days a week)
Pay Rate – $70,000 - $78,000 **Must have at least a Secret Clearance Mindbank Consulting Group has an immediate need for a Data Analyst / Analyst IV. Data Analyst / Analyst IV Responsibilities: • Conduct research and develop briefs, point papers, and other written documents to support or explain Navy objectives.
• Analyze weekly and monthly Navy Program reports.
• Develop and update metrics of Navy Programs, to include extrapolating and analyzing data trends from DoD databases, to include ADMITS, DSAID, and DoDSER, for briefs, reports, spreadsheets, and other documents.
• Evaluate, analyze, and validate data in support of reports to Congress, such as the SAPR Annual Report, etc.
• Provide support for strategic initiatives and work groups in response to urgent and arising issues affecting the Navy workforce – both from within the Navy and from the larger civilian populace – that need to be addressed in Navy policies, programs, practices and procedures (P4).
• Prepare comprehensive reports in support of strategic initiatives that incorporate analysis of alternatives across all P4 to assist in increasing retention of Navy’s workforce. Data Analyst / Analyst IV Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, business, law, engineering, social sciences, physical/applied sciences or management discipline such as business administration, accounting, finance, economics or management information technology.
• 3 years of experience in Data Analysis, Program Analysis, Statistical Analysis, or Business Process Improvement.
• Experience in technical writing, data analysis, report generation and data cleaning in database development, maintenance and use. • Experience with Access and Excel.
• Experience with Tableau and Power BI is a plus.
• Experience supporting government agencies is a plus. • Possession of excellent team-oriented, team building, presentation, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
