Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Electrical Field Engineer to support electrical and instrumentation-related field operations for water treatment and industrial construction projects. This role will assist with site coordination, equipment installation, electrical system review, troubleshooting, documentation, and construction execution. The ideal candidate is willing to work in the field, learn site operations, and gradually participate in electrical planning, control logic, and technical coordination as they gain experience.

This is a Full time and ON-SITE position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support hands-on field work and daily site operations, with a focus on electrical and instrumentation-related activities.
  • Assist with site coordination, construction planning, field requirements, work arrangement, and construction sequence coordination.
  • Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments to ensure work is completed according to project needs, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Support instrumentation installation, electrical equipment installation, equipment operation, and basic troubleshooting on site.
  • Monitor construction progress, installation quality, punch list items, issue tracking, and corrective action follow-up.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain electrical and instrumentation documents, engineering drawings, technical records, meeting notes, and daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Review electrical drawings, engineering drawings, and related technical documents to support field execution, project planning, and design coordination.
  • Attend client meetings, internal project reviews, subcontractor coordination meetings, and regular project progress meetings.
  • Assist with procurement requests, material and equipment tracking, vendor coordination, and ERP system updates.
  • Support safety-related activities, including pre-shift safety briefings, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), risk assessment, and field coordination.
  • Gradually participate in planning and design work, including equipment installation planning, operation planning, electrical drawing modification, program logic planning, and control logic documentation.
  • Work closely with construction, commissioning, safety, quality, chemical/material, and project teams to support smooth project execution and provide high-quality service to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or a related field.
  • Entry-level candidates are welcome; internship, co-op, or hands-on field experience in construction, engineering, semiconductor, water treatment, or industrial projects is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems, instrumentation, equipment installation, control systems, and field construction activities is preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, equipment layouts, P&ID, and related technical documents is preferred.
  • Familiarity with sensors, control panels, PLC, control logic, automation systems, or electrical equipment operation is a plus.
  • Willingness to support hands-on field work, site coordination, equipment installation, testing, troubleshooting, and project execution.
  • Strong safety awareness and ability to follow site safety requirements, construction procedures, and company policies.
  • Strong attention to detail, learning ability, problem-solving skills, and sense of responsibility.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and internal departments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural, and fully on-site project environment.
