About Us


A-Z Alterations & Tailoring is a professional alterations and tailoring business serving the Las Vegas community. We specialize in high-quality alterations for a wide variety of garments, from everyday clothing and suits to formalwear and bridal gowns.


We are growing our team and are looking for experienced Seamstresses and Tailors who take pride in their craftsmanship, have strong attention to detail, and can confidently perform professional alterations. We are currently hiring for both full-time and part-time positions and are looking to hire qualified candidates immediately.


What You'll Do


  • Perform professional alterations and tailoring on a wide variety of garments
  • Complete hems, waist and side adjustments, sleeve alterations, zipper replacements, repairs, resizing, and other common alterations
  • Work with dresses, pants, suits, jackets, formalwear, bridal gowns, and everyday garments
  • Perform advanced and complex alterations based on your experience and skill level
  • Evaluate garment construction and determine the appropriate alteration method
  • Work with different fabrics, garment constructions, and finishing techniques
  • Operate professional sewing and alterations equipment
  • Complete work efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and craftsmanship
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure garments are completed accurately and on time


What We're Looking For


  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in alterations, tailoring, or sewing is a must
  • Strong experience with regular garment alterations and tailoring
  • Excellent sewing, fitting, and garment construction skills
  • Ability to independently complete alterations from start to finish
  • Experience with bridal gowns and formalwear is highly preferred
  • Experience working with a variety of fabrics and garment types
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and consistency
  • Experience operating professional sewing equipment, including Brother and Juki machines, Serger / overlock machines and blind-stitch machines.
  • Reliable, professional, and able to work well with customers and other team members
  • Comfortable completing a practical sewing and alterations test during the interview process
