Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Lead engaging group sessions that foster connection among clients, promoting shared learning and support through community interactions.
• Conducting Individual Therapy: Provide empathetic, one-on-one counseling that delves into clients' thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, helping them identify and implement coping strategies tailored to their needs.
• Developing Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to design individualized, achievable treatment plans based on mutual goals and therapeutic needs.
• Monitoring Progress: Utilize assessment tools and client feedback to evaluate progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure client success.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, maintaining regular communication to coordinate care and address complex cases effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are engaged in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Many of these clients face a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Your role will be crucial in not only helping them to understand and manage these challenges but also in instilling hope and resilience that lasts long after they leave our program.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
• Current and valid LCPC licensure in the state of Nevada.
• Proficient understanding of therapeutic modalities and ability to apply evidence-based practices effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for working with young adults.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in telehealth or virtual therapy settings is preferred.
• Previous experience working with young adult populations and familiarity with outpatient treatment programs.
• Knowledge of community resources and support systems beneficial for young adults.

Compensation and Benefits
