Job description

Company Description

Philly Law Center is expanding its community-focused mission by launching a brand-new Auto Tag and Messenger Service. We are establishing this operation from the ground up in a prime, high-visibility corner location at 5th and Wyoming (4704 N. 5th Street). Positioned in the heart of Hunting Park, we are looking for a motivated leader to transform this perfect location into a thriving, compliant, and efficient neighborhood staple.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Tag Office Manager who will lead the launch and daily operations of our new agency. This is a unique opportunity to build a business from the floor up within an established legal practice. You will be responsible for the initial setup, implementing workflows, and eventually overseeing all daily administrative and customer-facing tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Launch & Setup: Lead the physical and digital setup of the office to meet all PennDOT standards and security requirements.

• Compliance: Navigate the PennDOT application process to secure Authorized Agent and Online Messenger status.

• Operations: Implement the Online Registration Program (OLRP) software and establish internal workflows for maximum efficiency.

• Management: Oversee title processing, plate inventory, and staff as the business scales.

• Community Service: Provide exceptional, client-centered service to the Hunting Park community.

Qualifications

• Expertise: Deep familiarity with PennDOT Publication 457 and PA title/registration processing.

• Experience: Proven track record in a high-volume tag office; experience with a new office launch or "ground-up" setup is highly preferred.

• Credentials: Must be a commissioned PA Notary Public (or eligible for immediate commission) and pass all mandatory state background checks.

• Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred due to our specific location and client base.

• Mindset: An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to build systems and take ownership of a new project.
