Title –Tableau Developer/ Analyst

Type:  Contract c2c

Location:-  Sunnyvale, CA ( Hybrid 2 day in a week )

Must Have

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our client’s team in Sunnyvale. This is a hybrid role with an approximately **50/50 focus on data analysis and software development**, requiring strong SQL and Python skills and the ability to work with complex, imperfect data.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable analyzing and modeling raw data, developing Tableau dashboards, writing SQL queries, and creating Python scripts and code to support data and business requirements. Experience working with financial data, particularly within **retail, corporate finance, or other specialized financial domains**, is highly desirable.

This role will also support the organization''s growing use of **AI and LLM technologies**, including leveraging LLMs to assist with development and data-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

* Analyze complex datasets and translate business requirements into meaningful data solutions.

* Develop and maintain **Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions** using SQL-based data sources.

* Write and optimize **SQL queries** to extract, transform, and analyze data.

* Model and structure raw tables to make data usable for analytics and reporting.

* Work with data that may be incomplete, inconsistent, or unclean and develop appropriate solutions to prepare it for analysis.

* Develop Python scripts and applications to automate data processes and support business requirements.

* Perform data transformations and ETL-related activities.

* Collaborate with data analysts, developers, business stakeholders, and offshore resources.

* Assist with the development and enhancement of HTML-based dashboards and other data visualization solutions.

* Explore and utilize **AI/LLM tools** to improve development, data analysis, automation, and documentation.

* Support initiatives involving the generation and transformation of XML and other structured data formats, including leveraging LLMs to assist with development from Tableau-related files.

* Troubleshoot data, reporting, and application issues and identify opportunities for process improvement.

* Document data models, processes, dashboards, and development solutions.

Required Qualifications

* Intermediate-level experience with **Python development and scripting**.

* Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.

* Experience performing data analysis, data modeling, and data transformation.

* Experience developing **Tableau dashboards** and reports using SQL data sources.

* Ability to work with raw, inconsistent, or unclean data and determine how to structure and transform it for analytical use.

* Understanding of ETL concepts and data pipelines.

* Ability to translate business requirements into technical and analytical solutions.

* Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment with onsite collaboration three days per week.
