The Business Intelligence Developer must be able to meet the key criteria below:
Location: 100% remote. This is a United States based position, and candidates must reside in the continental United States to be eligible for employment.
Years' Experience: 3+ years professional experience
Education: Bachelor's Degree in an IT related field
Security Clearance: IBR is a federal contractor. Applicants must currently hold an active Secret security clearance.
Employment Type: Full Time
Work Schedules: IBR promotes work-life balance by offering flexible scheduling options. Standard business hours are aligned to the Eastern Time Zone.

  • Experience with Qlik and Tableau required.

Position Overview
As a Business Intelligence Developer at IBR, you will play a key role in designing and implementing secure, next-generation solutions that support critical missions. As a member of the Manpower, Analytics, and Human Resources Systems (MAHRS) program, you will collaborate with technical leaders, business stakeholders, and a multi-disciplinary team to ensure solutions are scalable, secure and forward-thinking, while remaining aligned with organizational and program goals. The ideal candidate will be experienced in overseeing, developing, and maintaining policy for the HR Systems and data operations. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to technical strategy within a dynamic, mission-driven, and customer focused environment.
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop data visualization products by integrating complex data from multiple sources into actionable insights.
  • Design, develop, enhance, and support dashboards and reports using Qlik Sense, QlikView, and or Databricks.
  • Build and maintain data models within Qlik environments to support scalable and efficient reporting solutions.
  • Design, develop, test, and debug Qlik applications and dashboards.
  • Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) data from a variety of structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Transform data into datasets and data tables within BI tools including Qlik, Cognos, and Databricks
  • Perform performance tuning and optimization of Qlik applications, including data load scripts and front end dashboards
  • Support data migration, integration, and system to system data transfers
  • Develop reoccurring reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly), and ad hoc reports to meet stakeholder and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Document SOPs including ETL process, data flows, and dashboard development standards
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across reporting solutions.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years professional experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related field.
  • Must currently have an active Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT related field required
  • Hands on experience with Qlik Sense and/or QlikView, including dashboard development, scripting, and data modeling.
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards, reports, and metrics across BI Platforms (Qlik, Tableau, Cognos, Power BI, or similar).
  • Qlik and Tableau platform experience required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI technologies including Power BI, SSIS, and SSRS
  • Proven experience developing and optimizing ETL workflows and data pipelines
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling, fact and dimension tables, and schema design.
  • Experience performing performance tuning and optimization of Qlik applications and data models.
  • Strong data modeling and data transformation experience required.
  • Experience with programming and scripting languages including Python or R preferred.
  • Experience with Databricks preferred.
  • Experienced in collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze, and translate requirements into technical solutions.

The expected salary range for this position is $85,000 - $120,000 USD annually.
