Job Title: Tableau Solutions Architect - must work EST hours

Location: 100% remote

Start: ASAP

Duration: through the end of 2026 - opportunity to extend or convert depending on performance

Must haves:

  • Strong Infrastructure experience in building new Tableau server instances from scratch on-prem/Cloud and managing existing instances through proactive monitoring, Disaster Recovery, Backups, and addressing Security Vulnerabilities.
  • They would also have strong foundational knowledge in cloud concepts including but not limited to Subnets, VPC, IP configuration, Load Balancer setup, GCS buckets, and Cloud cost optimization.
  • Mid to senior level - 7-10+ years of experience
  • 2+ years of experience in GCP with cloud engineering
  • Current team does not have cloud engineering, need someone who has knowledge in GCP services
  • Strong Tableau infrastructure management, solutioning

Soft Skills:

  • This team is sitting in the middle of the organization - supporting 80-90k users
  • Lots of user engagement so need strong communication and being proactive are most important for someone to be successful in this role
  • Ability to handle user requests, sometimes run larger meetings with a large community user population
  • Any modernization/innovative/creative skillset
