The TA Realty Analyst Program (TAAP) is an opportunity for new or recent graduates with 0-2 years of working experience to learn all core areas of the Real Estate Private Equity business, while gaining exposure to multiple product types. Analysts will be assigned to our Valuations team where they will have the opportunity to provide cross-functional support to Asset Management, Acquisitions, Portfolio Management, and Dispositions. Analysts will have opportunities to gain exposure to other functions of the business, including Investor Relations, Debt Capital Markets, Research, and ESG, through secondary assignments and special projects.

TAAP is open to students graduating in 2027 with their bachelorโ€™s degree from an accredited university, as well as entry-level candidates with 1-2 years of relevant work experience. Analysts selected will commit to a 2-year program contract and be based in our headquarters in Boston.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Prepare sophisticated financial models in underwriting investment opportunities and reporting to the Acquisition Team in the viability of potential acquisitions.
  • Conduct market research and compile internal and external data for deal analysis.
  • Provide information during the acquisition and disposition phases of an asset (generating reports, analyzing data, communicating with stakeholders, preparing and/or presenting materials).
  • Assist in preparation of presentation materials and detailed investment memoranda.
  • Assist in transaction execution and the due diligence process for various product types.
  • Develop, improve, refine and implement valuation models to support asset management forecasting scenarios.
  • Develop, monitor, analyze and adjust budgets throughout the year; in conjunction with annual budget process, update Argus cash flow models to reflect leasing and operational activities.
  • Run quarterly valuations updates as well as coordinate with the thirdโ€‘party appraisal process: guidance on market rents, status of lease rollover, capital projects, etc.
  • Produce monthly, quarterly and semi-annual analysis on asset acquisitions, hold/sell analytics and fund portfolio analytics.
  • Prepare regular reports and complete special projects as requested.
  • Partner with asset management, property managers and brokers on leases, market analysis, risks, expenses and valuations using a variety of metrics.
  • Interface with business, joint venture, development, and operating partners in addition to lenders, lawyers and investment sales/brokerage community.

Requirements:

  • TAAP is open to students graduating in 2027 from an accredited university, as well as entryโ€‘level candidates with 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated interest in Commercial Real Estate through classwork, internships or other relevant experience, required. Advanced proficiency in Excel/Microsoft Office suite.
  • ARGUS certification a plus but not required.
  • Must have strong quantitative and analytical skills. Ability to interpret and evaluate financial data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be extremely detailโ€‘oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Works effectively in a fastโ€‘paced, deadline orientated, collaborative team environment.
