Currently Advatech has a position open for a Test Engineer that will focus on testing of fluid and pneumatic Aerospace Systems and Components. This will also include building Test Stands and Test Stand modification.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-7 year's experience testing mechanical assemblies and writing test procedures.
  • Hands on experience investigating and resolving testing problems (e.g. test equipment or process) to include
    modification of test procedures or recommend new testing methods.
  • Experience in interpreting and analyzing test results for accuracy and precision.
  • Experience building Test Stands is a plus.
  • Test Stand design/integration experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CATIA, NX and PRO-E experience.
  • Demonstrated the ability to communicate with Managers, Test Technicians, Project Engineersย Customerย Engineers on revisions to test objectives, methods, and standards.
  • Familiarity with test data acquisition strategies used in the testing of various materials.
  • Experience in preparing test procedure, conducting highly complex tests for Hydraulic and electro-mechanical components to include analyzation of the data.
  • Write test report and investigate and disposition failures.

Education

  • Requires a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Due to the responsibilities of these positions, customer requirements, and Export Control Information (ECI) all qualified applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
