The HR IT Systems & Integrations Analyst acts as the technical owner and integration specialist for the HR systems landscape supporting the Americas region. This role ensures the stable operation, secure data flow, and seamless integration of HR platforms such as Workday, ADP within the broader enterprise IT architecture.

The position is responsible for designing, maintaining, monitoring, and improving HR system integrations, data interfaces, and automation processes while ensuring data integrity, compliance, and system performance. The Systems Analyst works at the intersection of HR, IT, vendors, and compliance teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and well-documented HR technology solutions and an optimized user experience.

*This position follows a hybrid schedule with a minimum of two mandatory inoffice days per week at our Piscataway, NJ location. Inoffice requirements are subject to change based on business needs.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the technical subject matter expert for HRIS applications, serving as the primary point of contact for HR and IT stakeholders across the Americas.

  • Administer HRIS environments, including system access, security roles, data permissions, scheduling, and automation scripts to ensure availability, performance, and data protection.

  • Design and orchestrate system integrations and data interfaces between Workday, ADP and other relevant applications using file-based feeds, APIs, and middleware where applicable.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot end-to-end data flows, proactively identifying integration failures, data mismatches, timing issues, and upstream/downstream dependencies.

  • Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to define interface specifications, mapping logic, error handling, and reconciliation processes.

  • Provide advanced tier2/tier3 technical support for HRIS-related incidents, including root cause analysis and permanent fix implementation.

  • Support HR by resolving system defects, integration errors, and complex data issues within agreed SLAs.

  • Partner with HR Compliance and IT Security to ensure audit readiness, role-based access controls, data privacy, and SOX/GDPR-relevant controls across HR systems.

  • Provide technical enablement for HR processes including Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Recruitment, Performance Management, HR Case Management, and Time & Attendance, with focus on system configuration and integration touchpoints.

  • Act as HRIS integration SME in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, supporting system onboarding, data migration, interface redesign, or system separation activities.

  • Identify and implement automation, standardization, and best-practice integration patterns to improve data quality, reduce manual work, and increase process reliability.

  • Manage vendor technical relationships, including interface issue resolution, service reviews, release coordination, and interface documentation.

  • Coordinate with Global HR and IT on system upgrades, regression testing, interface testing, batch validations, data uploads, and continuous improvement initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor Degree and / or equivalent work experience required; higher education in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of technical HRIS experience, with strong exposure to Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time Management, Compensation, Performance, Onboarding, and Recruiting systems.

  • Proven hands-on experience configuring and supporting Workday, ADP, and similar HR platforms, including interface development, file feeds, validation, and testing.

  • Strong experience managing HR system integrations, including inbound/outbound interfaces, error monitoring, data reconciliation, and change management.

  • Experience with HR case management tools e.g. Neocase, Workday Help and ITSM tools like ServiceNow, SMAX.

  • Solid understanding of the full HRIS implementation lifecycle from a technical perspective: requirements analysis, solution design, configuration, testing (UAT/interface), deployment, and hypercare.

  • Strong analytical skills to assess data quality, system performance, and integration effectiveness, translating findings into technical and process improvements.

  • Excellent problem-solving ability with a structured approach to incident resolution and root cause analysis.

  • Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and to collaborate effectively in cross-functional, global teams.

  • High attention to detail, strong documentation mindset, and ability to manage multiple interfaces, systems, and priorities concurrently.

  • Knowledge of HR compliance, data privacy, and security concepts; advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools


Summary Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. PayRange: $83,900 - $151,800
