Job Description

NEP's System Integration team is currently looking for a qualified and experienced Temporary Integration Technician to join our team. The purpose of this position is to construct and refurbish mobile units and related projects at NEPs Systems Integration Facility, ensuring that client needs are met, and equipment operates to NEP standards.

Key duties include

  • Read and understand floor plans, rack elevations, signal flow diagrams and jack field layouts.
  • Translate drawings into cable pulling, cable prep and installation into mobile units and related projects.
  • Install cable, panels and equipment bringing elements together to form a fully functional system.
  • Test the functionality of fabrication and installation work that has been performed.
  • Fabricate connectors for every required type of cable in a mobile unit.

Requirements

  • Associates or Technical Degree preferred; however, a combination of education and experience will be considered.

  • Experience working with broadcast equipment and technology.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and manage simultaneous projects.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of broadcast technology, equipment and facilities.
  • Must have a valid Drivers License
  • Must be reliable and willing to work 40+ hours/week including weekends as needed.
  • Experience with basic hand tools is a plus and must be willing and able to perform a variety of different tasks.
  • Prior wiring experience is a plus, but not required. (Training will be provided as needed)
