Job description

Systems Integration Specialist
The Opportunity:
Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your technical skills with big picture thinking to make an impact on national security? You understand your customer's environment and how to develop the right systems for their mission. Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused engineering solution.
As a systems engineer on our team, you'll have the chance to act as a primary point of contact for the Maritime Operational Battlespace Command and Control ( MOBC2 ) program and assist with future Expeditionary Command and Control ( EC2 ) system upgrades and system designs to meet Combatant Commander requests and requirements. Your customer will t rus t you to research government of-the-shelf ( GOTS ) products and emerging commer cia l of-the-shelf ( COTS ) products to provide analysis of alternatives to integrate into the C2 service suites supporting mission systems, and expeditionary and Distributed Agnostic Command, Control, and Communications ( DAC3 ) kits and suites. You will also be relied on to create technical briefs and comparison reports for new technology products to help your customer make informed DAC3 integration decisions.

You Have:
  • 7+ years of experience in systems engineering
  • 5+ years of experience working with the full systems delivery life cycle
  • Experience with the engineering and integration of EC2 systems
  • Experience d identifying, analyzing, and coordinating various user and stakeholder requirements
  • Experience using the Micro sof t product suite, developing briefs, leading meetings, and coordinating activities across matrixed teams
  • Ability to successfully identify, document, and mitigate risks
  • Ability to present technical concepts to customers, users, and stakeholders
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field

Nice If You Have:
  • Possession of strong communication skills
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Agile Certified Practitioner ( ACP ) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
