Job Description Titre du poste : Gestionnaire, Ingenierie, Integration des systemes electriques Type de poste : Permanent Salaire : Selon l'experience Details du poste : Situe a Toronto (Ontario) ou Montreal (Quebec). Le poste de Gestionnaire en ingenierie - Systemes electriques est un role polyvalent au sein du departement de conception et de developpement des aeronefs. L'equipe des systemes electriques est responsable de la conception et de l'integration d'un systeme optimise de generation et de distribution de l'energie electrique ainsi que des systemes d'eclairage.

Nous veillons a ce que ces systemes fonctionnent en toute securite et repondent a toutes les exigences (reglementaires, clients, internes). Votre future equipe soutient l'ensemble des produits. Dans ce role, vous releverez du directeur principal fonctionnel en ingenierie.

Gerer une equipe multisite d'ingenieurs en electricite. Collaborer avec les fournisseurs de systemes electriques et d'eclairage afin de faire progresser les solutions techniques vers la certification. Developper et mettre en uvre des strategies pour la definition des futurs aeronefs en proposant des solutions innovantes et competitives.

Developper ou adapter les outils et processus selon les besoins de la fonction afin d'atteindre les objectifs organisationnels. Etre responsable de toutes les activites fonctionnelles et des rapports au sein du departement (ex. : domaines de connaissances, revue des competences critiques, niveau de connaissances critiques, conferences, etc.), et executer la feuille de route annuelle BMS

S'assurer que des ressources d'ingenierie adequates sont allouees pour respecter les echeanciers de developpement produit et d'execution des projets. Fixer les objectifs annuels des employes, evaluer leur performance et recommander les evolutions salariales et de carriere. Etre responsable de la performance de l'equipe, en livrant a temps, dans le respect du budget et avec qualite.

Maintenir un environnement de travail positif et sain (communication, reconnaissance, encadrement, developpement de carriere). Assurer la visibilite sur l'execution, les enjeux et proceder aux escalades si necessaire. Gerer et resoudre les conflits de priorites en interne et avec les parties prenantes.

Participer au recrutement et a l'integration des nouveaux employes. Contribuer a la preparation du budget et gerer les ressources financieres. Examiner et approuver les impacts techniques lies aux activites electriques et d'eclairage.

Identifier les besoins en formation et en deplacements. Soutenir les activites d'essais fournisseurs et aeronefs. Assurer le support a la ligne de production et aux aeronefs en service.

Diriger des projets strategiques de recherche et technologie en electricite ou eclairage. Exigences et qualifications : Baccalaureat en genie electrique ou aeronautique. Plus de 15 ans d'experience dans l'industrie aerospatiale avec une solide connaissance des systemes electriques et d'eclairage.

Experience en integration de systemes et comprehension des interactions entre systemes d'aeronef. Experience en integration des systemes electriques et d'eclairage. Vision strategique avec un interet pour l'amelioration de l'aviation d'affaires.

Minimum de 5 ans d'experience en gestion. Solides competences organisationnelles et en leadership. Esprit oriente vers la resolution de problemes avec capacite a mettre en uvre des solutions.

Capacite a gerer plusieurs priorites dans un environnement flexible. Excellentes competences en communication (francais et anglais). Connaissance de la certification aeronautique (atout).

The Manager Engineering - Electrical Systems is a multifaceted position within the Aircraft Design and Development department. The Electrical Systems team is responsible for designing and integrating an optimized Electrical Power Generation & Distribution and Lighting Systems. We ensure it will operate safely and meet all the requirements (regulatory, customer, internal).

Your future team supports all products. In your role, you will be reporting to the Engineering Functional Sr. Director.

Manage a multi-site team of Electrical engineers. Liaise with Electrical and Lighting Suppliers to progress technical solutions towards certification. Develop and implement strategies for the definition of future aircraft, proposing innovative and competitive solutions.

Develop or adapt tools and processes according to the needs of the function to achieve organizational objectives. Responsible for all functional activities and reporting within the department (e.g. Knowledge Domains, Critical Skills Review, Critical Knowledge Level, conferences, etc.) And execute the yearly bms roadmap

Ensure adequate engineering resources are assigned to meet product development deadlines and project execution. Set annual employee objectives, evaluate performance, and recommend salary and career progression. Be accountable for group performance, delivering on time, on budget, and with quality.

Ensure a positive and healthy work environment (communication, recognition, coaching, career development). Provide visibility on execution, issues, and escalate as needed. Manage and resolve priority conflicts internally and with stakeholders.

Participate in recruitment and onboarding. Support budget preparation and manage financial resources. Review/approve technical impacts related to Electrical and Lighting activities.

Identify training and travel needs. Support supplier and aircraft testing activities. Ensure support for production line and in-service aircraft.

Lead Research and Technology strategic Electrical or Lighting projects. Qualifications requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Aeronautical Engineering. 15+ years in the aerospace industry with strong knowledge of Electrical and Lighting systems.

Experience in system integration and understanding of aircraft systems interactions. Electrical and Lighting integration experience. Strategic mindset with interest in business aviation improvement.

Minimum 5 years of management experience. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Problem-solving mindset with ability to implement solutions.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a flexible environment. Strong communication skills (French and English). Knowledge of aeronautical certification (asset).
