Job Description

We are seeking a Systems Engineer who possesses a passion for people and technology with experience in support, consulting, or a comparable field. You love driving implementations of IT infrastructure such as virtualization, enterprise hardware/software, networking, and cloud computing.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with clients to provide regular updates on projects.
  • Work in our ticketing and project management system to respond to clients based within SLAs.
  • Provide internal escalation support on client issues.
  • Translate clients' requests into clearly defined projects.
  • Develop solutions tailored to solve clients' issues.
  • Implement highly-available server/networking/storage infrastructure.
  • Audit and implement security best practices across a wide range of devices and services.
  • Support backup and disaster recovery infrastructure.


Qualifications

Technology Requirements

Deep knowledge, direct experience, and/or ownership of:

  • Windows Server : 2008+, Virtualization, DNS, AD, Group Policy, DHCP, File Server, PowerShell.
  • Windows Client : Windows 7+, Deployment, Bitlocker.
  • Apple : 10.10+ management/support.
  • Networking : Internet connectivity, Wi-Fi, IPv4, VLANs, NAT, Firewalls, DHCP, DNS.
  • Microsoft Cloud/Server : Exchange, SQL, Office 365.
  • Client Software : Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, Lync/Skype4B).
