    Position Type: Contract
    JOB DESCRIPTION:
    Targeted Years of Experience: 7-10 years
    Responsibilities include:
    Analyzing and joining data elements from disparate sources to create meaningful metrics and actionable reporting
    Working with data managers, project managers, and system admins to understand specific BI needs, data anomalies, and remediation priorities.
    Reviewing code/queries and table configurations for security strategy solution that supports
    Building data workflows
    Required skills:
    Query development and optimization using SQL in a mixed engine environment (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc)
    Database development and engineering with Microsoft SQL Server, including integration and reporting services, with a focus on automation
    Grafana report and dashboard development
    Knowledge of SQL Server integration with external data sources, email notification, and data export
    Knowledge of data structures, computer systems, and software engineering
    Experience in creating on-demand/ad-hoc metrics using SQL
    Ability to manage multiple assignments
    Superior written and oral communication skills
    Desired skills:
    Scripting skills using structured languages (such as Python, PowerShell, C#, VB, Java, etc.)
    Microsoft Certifications
    Linux System Certification
    System admin background UNIX/Linux/ Windows
    Education/Certifications:

    Job duties:
    Work with Systems Administrators and IT management to develop and maintain a robust BI environment and provide ad-hoc reporting to help maintain a secure Enterprise computing environment. This will require utilizing security tools to ensure drive remediation of vulnerabilities within required timeframes. Generation of security reports and tracking of vulnerability remediation projects will be a significate part of the job.
