Overview
Pacific Retirement Services (PRS) is a national, not-for-profit leader in senior living and healthcare, dedicated to empowering people to lead meaningful lives as they age. We are seeking a Systems Engineer to support and optimize the technology infrastructure that powers our corporate office and communities. This role will be responsible for maintaining secure, reliable, and scalable systems while helping drive innovation and operational excellence across the organization.
What You'll Be Doing
• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise infrastructure systems, including Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V, and cloud environments including Microsoft Azure.
• Manage and support critical business systems including Azure File Services, OneDrive, SharePoint, enterprise storage, data center infrastructure, backup and recovery solutions, and disaster recovery processes.
• Administer and maintain the organization's virtualization environment, including server deployments, migrations, upgrades, patch management, performance tuning, and infrastructure lifecycle planning.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives through vulnerability remediation, security audits, access management, system hardening, patch compliance, and implementation of security best practices across the enterprise.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot complex system issues, collaborate with vendors and managed service providers, and develop documentation, training materials, and technical procedures that support business continuity and operational excellence.
Location: Working out of the PRS Home Office in Medford, OR is required.

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
About You
• Minimum of five years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure in multi-site environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, virtualization platforms, and cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
