Overview
Amyx is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our Dept. of Defense client at Scott Air Force Base in O'fallon, IL.
Responsibilities
  • This position will focus on being able to provide systems and technical engineering support across the system lifecycle.
  • Supports architecture, design, and technical reviews.
  • Develops and maintains systems engineering documentation.
  • Advises on technical risks, performance, and integration
  • Must have the ability to communicate accurate information
  • Systems/technical engineering support: technical management processes, assessments, specifications, architectures, and design documents.
  • Engineering documentation: draft and maintain compliance, architecture, and sustainability documentation; support milestone reviews; develop technical performance measures and planning documents
  • Coordination & advising: coordinate with Government engineers; advise on technical assessments, reviews, and audits; monitor architectures for compliance with applicable regulations/requirements.
  • Agile awareness: support Agile methodologies as required

Qualifications
Required:
  • Secret Clearance
  • The position requires the personnel to have at least one Computing Environment (CE) certification.

Desired:
  • Experience supporting engineering-related acquisition milestone reviews and technical working groups.
  • Experience providing technical support for market research and solution constraints analysis.
