Position Overview

We are seeking a Design Engineer to support vehicle and product system design and development. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across engineering and manufacturing teams.


What You’ll Be Doing

Engineering & Design

  • Vehicle and product system design and development
  • System physics modeling and characterization
  • CAD system and component concept development and packaging
  • Apply linear-static Finite Element Analysis (FEA) in design optimization
  • Generate technical drawings and documentation
  • Prepare and present project status reports
  • Support test design, development, and reporting (DVP&R)

Project Support

  • Resolve customer issues using mechanical, analytical, CAE, and project management skills
  • Prepare technical specifications
  • Develop testing methods and procedures
  • Support manufacturing by responding to questions and Engineering Change Requests (ECRs)


Required Skills & Experience

  • Creo CAD experience
  • ANSYS / FEA tools experience
  • Windchill product lifecycle management
  • Drawing, detailing, and GD&T application
  • Experience with sheet metal, cabling/wiring, and structural systems
  • Full vehicle system understanding and interaction between components
  • Strong technical writing, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)


Additional Qualifications

  • Experience in parametric 3D modeling and ASME Y14.5 (GD&T)
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong work ethic


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Automotive Engineering, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3+ years of engineering experience
