MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Architect to join our team in Tampa, FL.
 

The System Architect will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to work on complex IT architecture projects with full competency in data gathering, artifact development, presentation, and completion of enterprise architect (EA) models.
 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work on complex IT architecture projects with full competency in data gathering, artifact development, presentation, and completion of enterprise architect (EA) models

  • Applying hardware engineering and software design theories and principles to researching, developing, and reviewing EA products.

  • Recommending innovative technologies that will enhance the presentation and usage of EA products.

  • Providing integrated systems planning and support to leadership in provisioning cloud-based development operations environments.

  • Coordinating project team activities and assisting with monitoring project schedules and costs.

  • Identifying and documenting architectural requirements supporting future SOF Enterprise needs, including goals, approach, and Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M).

  • Preparing assessments, point papers, briefings, and executive presentations to contribute architectural support documents for the SOF Enterprise.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Communications or equivalent and 4+ years of experience providing services similar in tasks, scope, and complexity.

  • Experience in system architecture, enterprise architecture, or systems engineering

  • Demonstrated ability in data gathering, artifact development, and enterprise architecture (EA) modeling

  • Extensive experience conducting analytical studies including enterprise architectures and developing DoDAF-compliant enterprise architects.

  • FEAC-Certified Enterprise Architect.

  • ITIL-Foundations V certification and PMI-Certified Project Management Associate.

Preferred Qualifications:

    • 6+ years of experience providing services similar in tasks, scope, and complexity.

    • Experience supporting Special Operations Forces (SOF) Enterprise or similar Department of Defense environments

    • Experience with the Sponsor's primary cyber risk and compliance automation tools.

    • Familiarity with DoD Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as DoDAF

    • Experience developing Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M) for complex IT systems

    • Relevant certifications in Enterprise Architecture or Cloud platforms

    Clearance Requirements:

    • An active Secret clearance is required with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

    • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

    • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.

    • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
