Seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead multiple complex and high-impact projects supporting digital modernization, innovation, and service-delivery initiatives. The ideal candidate has demonstrated success in public-sector project management, excels at navigating complex stakeholder environments, and is a self-starter capable of driving projects with minimal oversight.
Responsibilities
• Manage concurrent, complex projects across local government departments and agencies.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, dashboards, and documentation.
• Track scope, budget, timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate as needed.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Produce weekly and monthly status updates and KPI reports.
• Monitor vendor deliverables and contract compliance.
• Ensure alignment with digital transformation priorities.
• Support public-facing digital engagement and modernization initiatives.
• Maintain strong stakeholder communication and relationships.
• Operate independently and proactively identify and resolve gaps.
Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of project management experience with complex, multi-workstream projects.
• Public-sector or municipal government experience required.
• Strong understanding of PMBOK, Agile, or hybrid methodologies.
• Experience managing schedules, budgets, risks, and communication plans.
• Ability to work independently and drive outcomes.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, including KPI tracking.
• Experience working with cross-functional and technical teams.
