Main Duties & Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY:
Set up and operate various threadroll machines formanufacturing precision aircraft quality fasteners.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Competencies: Include thefollowing. Other duties may be assigned.
Be ableto use and set all gages, micrometers, calipers, plug and ring gages,comparator and microscope
Understandsthreadroll part feature terminology
Read andinterpret part drawings, work instructions, process control procedures,policies and procedures
Be ableto use the necessary measuring tools
Recognizesimproper machine functioning and takes action to report any safety concerns
Performfirst piece verification process per part print and do loaf pan inspections
Performdaily 5S on work area and equipment and understands lean principles
Performpreventative maintenance daily at shift start
Able tolift up to 50 lbs regularly
Goodcommunication skill and know basic shop math
Passproduction stamp test
UnderstandsQMS
Be ableto complete transactions in Shop-Trak accurately
Qualifications
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safetyrules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in allunits of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Blueprint Reading:
Learn to read and understandblueprints.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree(GED). 0-6 months experience inthreadrolling aircraft quality fasteners on various types of threadrollmachines; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee isregularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk orhear. The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and armsand stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/ormove up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by thisjob include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjustfocus.
Compensation
In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $19.00 - $29.86.
