The In-N-Out Burger Human Resources Information Systems team has an excellent opportunity for an HRIS Supervisor , located in the Irvine, CA office*. Reporting to the HRIS Manager, the HRIS Supervisor serves as both a people leader and a functional systems leader, balancing team management, project execution, system governance, and cross-functional partnership. This role ensures the HRIS team delivers accurate, timely, and scalable solutions while supporting enterprise priorities and enhancing the employee experience.
*This role is based full time in office in Irvine, CA
General Responsibilities
  • Supervise, coach, and develop a team of HRIS Analysts, including assigning work, establishing priorities, monitoring performance, and supporting Associate development and engagement.
  • Oversee day-to-day administration and support of Oracle HCM modules, ensuring system functionality, data integrity, issue resolution, and alignment with business and HR process needs.
  • Lead the team's execution of HRIS processes, transactions, audits, and reporting activities to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent support for HR, Payroll, IT, and other stakeholders.
  • Partner with HR leadership, IT, Payroll, and other cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements, process improvements, integrations, and configuration changes within Oracle HCM and related platforms.
  • Oversee testing, validation, and implementation support for system upgrades, patches, new functionality, and process changes, ensuring minimal disruption and strong change management practices.
  • Establish and maintain team standards, documentation, controls, and workflows to promote data quality, compliance, consistency, and scalable HRIS operations.
  • Monitor system issues, trends, and stakeholder feedback; identify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions that improve efficiency, reporting capability, and user experience.
  • Support strategic HRIS initiatives by contributing subject matter expertise, resource planning, and execution oversight for projects involving Oracle HCM modules and related HR technologies.

Work Schedule and Benefits
  • Full-time position, Exempt
  • Office Hours in Irvine, CA: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
  • Department needs will call for occasional overtime

  • Salary Pay Range $150,000 to $185,000
  • The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your experience and other job-related factors.

Qualifications
  • 7 years of experience in a Core HR role
  • 2 years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud systems architect role
  • 5 years of experience directly leading/supervising a team of HRIS analysts, architects and/or product owners.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM modules including Benefits, Compensation, Career Development, Succession Planning, Performance, Absence, and HCM analytics (OTBP, BIP, FAW)
  • Strong SQL and Fast Formula Skills
  • Strong experience with Oracle HCM Cloud Security Design and HDL
  • Understanding of quantitative/qualitative measurement and data/system design principles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to details
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience with a programming language and PL/SQL preferred
  • Excellent project and time management Skills
  • Ability to work independently under a general guidance

Work Location Details
In-N-Out Burger plans to bring its west coast headquarters team back together under one roof by the end of 2029. After maintaining two Southern California office locations for many years, the company will permanently close its Irvine office in 2029 and once again headquarter the company's western territory solely in Baldwin Park, California, where the company was founded in 1948.
Newly hired Associates in Irvine will be eligible to participate in the group move to Tennessee with relocation assistance or work from our western headquarters in Baldwin Park, CA, upon its opening in 2029. We are sharing this information early so candidates can make informed decisions while considering a career with In-N-Out Burger.
