Key Responsibilities of the Controller:

  1. Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  2. Manage the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

Qualifications of the Controller:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA is a plus.
  2. 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.
  3. Previous Controller, Assistant Controller, or Accounting Manager experience preferred.
  4. Experience in a private equity-backed organization is highly preferred.
  5. Multi-unit or multi-location accounting experience required. Hospitality, restaurant, retail, or other location-based industry experience is strongly preferred.
  6. Experience with banking, treasury, cash management, or centralized banking projects.
  7. Experience with Sage Intacct preferred. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
